Staffordshire's Local Transport Plan 2006/2011 planned for them to both be funded by the private sector or from a LTP bid, but in December 2008 the West Midland regional assembly exclude the Burslem bypasses from the bid, Cllr Knapper raised objections but was apparently ignored, the City Council then planned to spend £750,000 on traffic lights on Westport Road, and £4.5Million on the North West Link Road, the cost of the remaining road works needed have yet to be revealed.
Now everyone says the Council works slow but just with 1 day they have produced map of 45 new wards and 45 new ward name,, impressive

The Burslem Bypass Scheme was original to be funded by the Private sector according to the Local Transport Plan
A small bypass to the south-east of the town centre is being considered as part of the Nile Street development package whilst other traffic could be taken on a north-west route via Westport Road.
After reading the ‘Talk About Local’ blog and other comments on PitsnPots I thought I may as well have a try a setting one up.
So I found a host using surfers friend google (or enemy depending on your view) then after setting up and trying a few different systems this one seems to work, well it shows text and pictures.
